AON
is exclusively represented in Malta by Mediterranean
Insurance Brokers, Malta’s largest brokers
and risk consultants with over 30 professionals.
On the occasion of MIB’s 30th and AON’s
international 20th anniversaries, Dmax™ team
was commissioned to produce a 5 minute long multimedia
presentation.
|
|
It
was first shown at the Hilton Conference Centre
(Malta) in front of 1,500 people, just before an
Opera concert by Internationally Acclaimed soprano,
Miriam Gauci. The presentation goes though MIB’s
history, and slowly reaches recounts of the company’s
milestones over the last 3 decades. A shorter and
more upbeat version is in the pipeline. |

Ray
de bono created various versions of the Aon Select
sales oriented, instructional video that goes over
the mechanics of the Aon Select service. This formed
part of the launch and TV campaign for Aon Select,
a telephone-based insurance sales service pioneered
in Malta by Aon.
|
|
This was one of the very first Maltese videos incorporating
3D and digital video. It was filmed in an infinity
studio hall. Here one may view the one-minute long
version. Fifteen and 30 second versions were also
created. |

(Banned
from broadcast by the Malta Broadcasting Authority) |
|
|
|
This
20-second TV commercial for Malta’s largest
shoe shop chain, Gallarija Darmanin, was banned
as it was “perceived as promoting abuse of
women” by various people. It features a tango
dance, in a purposely created Argentinean-looking
set, with a cast of top Maltese models. We wanted
to create a chiaro-oscuro effect, a Tango feeling
of passion, and irresistible attraction between
the protagonists.
|
|
During this dance the male dancer pulls and drops
his partner after he sees she is
bare-foot…Then the dance continues to dance
with the others, this time wearing a smart pair
of shoes. The controversy surrounding this video
banning was such that several TV programmes held
live discussions and an online poll about whether
people agreed with its banning.
Refer to News pages for copies of the several
press coverage of the case. |

proves to be extremely cost effective since it is
a fraction of a 3 dimensional animation video cost. |
